Un estudio de Digital TV Research predice que Am\u00e9rica Latina alcanzar\u00e1 100.35 millones de usuarios de video bajo demanda por suscripci\u00f3n (SVOD) para 2025, m\u00e1s del doble de los 42.15 millones de suscriptores registrados en 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
El informe pronostica que Brasil seguir\u00e1 siendo el l\u00edder del mercado con 36 millones de suscripciones para 2025, es decir, 20 millones m\u00e1s que en 2019; y M\u00e9xico ocupar\u00e1 el segundo lugar con 28 millones de suscripciones dentro de cinco a\u00f1os, 16 millones m\u00e1s que en 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Plataformas como Netflix seguir\u00e1n creciendo, pero su dominio disminuir\u00e1, asegura Digital TV Research, ya que tendr\u00e1 47.4 millones de suscripciones para 2025 en comparaci\u00f3n con 31.4 millones registrados en 2019. Mientras que Disney+ crecer\u00e1 r\u00e1pidamente despu\u00e9s de su lanzamiento en la regi\u00f3n en noviembre de 2020, con una estimaci\u00f3n de 25 millones de suscriptores para 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Argentina, Colombia y Per\u00fa tambi\u00e9n crecer\u00e1n a un ritmo similar y tendr\u00e1n m\u00e1s del doble de suscriptores para 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Simon Murray, analista principal de Digital TV Research, dijo: \u201cAm\u00e9rica Latina disfrutar\u00e1 de una ola de lanzamientos de plataformas con base en Estados Unidos durante el pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o. Disney+ comenzar\u00e1 en noviembre y se espera que Hulu, HBO Max y ViacomCBS comiencen durante 2021.
